Delimiter string:

The American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) is an encoding system that was initially designed for old type computers and printers using telegraphic codes. It was based on 128 symbols which included 26 letters of English alphabet, 10 numbers, and punctuation marks.

The ASCII text to binary converter converts the text input in ASCII to the binary output. It is a simple calculator to operate and gives accurate results depending on the values entered in the text field. It has a single text field where you will fill in or paste the ASCII text input.

You can then select the Delimiter string on the options provided in the search box. This can either be in space, comma, b+space, b+comma or you can select none. Once you have confirmed that all the details have been entered correctly, you will press the ‘Convert' button. It is one of the active controls that executes the conversion from ASCII text to binary.

The other two controls perform different functions of the calculator. The ‘Reset' button readjusts the calculator by erasing all data of the previous calculations from the text field. The ‘Swap' button interchanges the flow of calculations allowing you to convert the binary to ASCII text.

Your results in Binary output will be reflected below the three controls on the bottom platform of the calculator. The ASCII system represents commands for printing such as ‘complete', ‘wait', ‘start' etc. and the visible characters. Some examples of ASCII text to binary conversions include;

Sea = (01110011 01100101 01100001)2

Help = (01001000 01100101 01101100 01110000) 2

The ‘Select' button at the bottom of the calculator is used to highlight the binary output which can be copied to the clipboard. The ASCII text to binary converter is an efficient calculator that delivers accurate results with a single click.
