The time zone that is used in Nepal is referred to as Nepal Standard Time (NPT). Nepal time is situated 5:45 ahead of the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC +5:45). There are only three zones that have a time offset of 45 minutes from the Coordinated Universal Time including Nepal.
